Step-by-step introduction: this gentle, effective class can be taken using a chair, yoga mat or combination of both. This is the place to start and is perfect for seniors, complete beginners, or those recovering from an injury or want a practice refresher.  Warm up with the Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar) sequence with or without chair assistance. 

Learn how to come in and out of postures (asanas) in a safe and methodical way and how to maximise the benefits. 

We take the approach of developing balance, strength, flexibility, and relaxation while improving physical alignment.  Breathing techniques will also be introduced. r
